Days Like This

I am sitting in my brother’s house about an hour outside Chicago.  He
passed away early this morning. It was sudden and a great surprise.  I
am thinking this morning that we are grieving but he is amazed.
Seeing Jesus is like nothing he could imagine.  We are drawing
strength from our faith and each other.  My brother’s strength is
complete and more real than we can imagine.

I am short on perspective and wisdom but I know in whom I trust.  It
is trust and faith that sustains during days like this.
